Subnet Report
The Subnet Report is used to list
subnets that list a user-specified criteria.
The subnet filtering options have two sections, Filter Subnets and Utilization Criteria
Filter Subnets
The Filter Subnets filtering
section allows you to filter the subnets based on the subnet
definitions. To enable this filtering section, click the Filter Subnets checkbox.
The following filters can be specified in the section:
- Range Use this filter to
list subnets having the specified text in the subnet definition.
- Title Use this filter to
list subnets having the specified text in the subnet title.
- Description Use this
filter to list subnets having the specified text in the subnet
description.
Click the button with the plus sign to add a new criterion. Click the button with the minus sign to remove the last criterion.
If more than one filter is used, all the selected filter conditions
must be met for the result to be displayed.
Utilization Criteria
The Utilization Criteria filtering
section allows you to filter the subnets based on the subnet
definitions. To enable this filtering section, click the Utilization Criteria checkbox.
The following filters can be specified in the section:
- Utilization Use this filter to
list subnets based on the subnet utilization.
- Used Addresses Use this filter to
list subnets based on the number of used addresses.
- Free Addresses Use this
filter to list subnets based on the number of free addresses.
Click the button with the plus sign to add a new criterion. Click the button with the minus sign to remove the last criterion.
If more than one filter is used, all the selected filter conditions
must be met for the result to be displayed.
Select the checkbox Calculate Utilization for Subnets to display the subnet utilization in the report.
After specifying the filter conditions, click the Run button to run the report. Once
the report completes, the number of records returned is displayed.
- To view the results in a new browser window, click the View Results button.
- To view the results in an Excel spreadsheet, click the Export to Excel button.
Note: This button is only
displayed if Microsoft Excel is installed and you are using the
Internet Explorer browser.

Note that subnets that have child subnets will have utilization marked as n/a.
