IP Address Range View
The IP Address Range view allows
you to create and delete IP Address Ranges as well as performing
various actions on existing ranges.
- To edit an IP address range double-click the range in the range list.
- Use the Quick Filter to quickly locate the IP address range you want to work with. To clear the Quick Filter, click the
button on the right of the Quick Filter
field. You can also click the
icon next to the Quick Filter entry field to select various predefined filters.
- To navigate to a different page, click the
or
button.
- To switch between a flat view or a single-level view, click the
or
toolbar button. When the single-level view is active, the list view will only display IP address ranges that exist on a single level. To drill down a level, click the
button next to the IP address range. To go up a level, click the
toolbar button.
- To add an IP address range, click the Add
button.
- To remove an IP address range, click the range in the list and then click the Delete button.
- To see properties for an IP address range, click the range in the list and then click the Properties button.
- To split an IP address range into multiple subranges, click the range in the list and then click the Split button. This will start the Split Range Wizard.
- To join two or more ranges, select the ranges you want to join and click the Join button.
- To allocate subnets from an existing IP address range, click the range in the list and then click the Allocate button. This will start the Allocate Ranges Wizard.
- To convert a DHCP scope to an IP address range, click a DHCP scope in the list and click the Convert to Range button. When a DHCP scope is converted to an IP address range, the DHCP scope is removed from the DHCP server but all subnet information is left intact.
- To select a different view or report, select from the View List
on the left-hand side of the window.
- To collapse the View List, click the button with the left-facing
arrow above the View list.
- To expand the View list, click the button with the right-facing
arrow on the left-hand side of the window.
