DHCP Lease Activity Report
The DHCP Lease Activity Report is used to see information from the DHCP Lease History.
Note: To run this report, lease history gathering must be enabled.
The following filters can be specified for the DHCP Lease Activity Report:
- IP Address Use this filter to see DHCP Lease activity related to a specific IP address.
- Client Identifier Use this filter to see DHCP Lease activity related to a specific client identifier or MAC address.
- Server Address Use this filter to see DHCP Lease activity related to a specific DHCP server.
- Host Name Use this filter to see DHCP Lease activity related to a specific DNS host name.
- Description Use this filter to see DHCP Lease activity based on a description text in the lease file.
In addition to the filters listed above, you can narrow the search by specifying a time period using the From and To date fields.
Some lease events consist of multiple entries where each lease renew event creates a new entry in the lease file. To suppress displaying of the lease renew events, select the Collapse Renew Events checkbox.
After specifying the filter conditions, click the Run button to run the report. Once the report completes, the number of records returned is displayed.
- To view the results in a new browser window, click the View Results button.
- To view the results in an Excel spreadsheet, click the Export to Excel button.
Note: This button is only
displayed if Microsoft Excel is installed and you are using the
Internet Explorer browser.
